Colvin was in talks with a Kosciuszko slot holder over the weekend but was unable to come to an agreement.
He still has some interest in the horse but is not going to give the world to secure Another One's place in the field.
"I'm over it," Colvin said of the negotiations.
"It doesn't really worry me. I know what we've got and what he can do. I just want to know so I can start planning something else.
"But I'll trial him on Saturday and see from there."
Another One is one of the few remaining horses at the top of the Kosciuszko market not to secure a place in the field.

Colvin expects Another One to catch the eye of punters with a strong trial performance at Wagga.
"He'll trial well," Colvin said.
"He's ready to go. Nick (Heywood) says he feels unbelievable now."
Colvin is also one of a number of trainers who believes some of the rules associated with the Kosciuszko need tinkering.
Some connections of horses are offering cash up front for selecting their horse, while some trainers have given shares in horses.
Colvin believes there is merit in a set 50-50 prizemoney split that would take negotiations and back door deals out of the equation.
Meantime, there are another couple of Kosciuszko hopefuls among the nominations for Wagga on Saturday.
The $24,000 Run To Kosciuszko Open Handicap (1000m) has attracted the likes of Kattegat, Superhard, Blitzar, Delacour and Proud Mia, among others.
