AFL Riverina unveiled their plan for finals for its two junior competitions on Friday.
The South West juniors will go straight to grand finals, between first and second on the ladder, on September 18, should lockdown end on Saturday week.
If lockdown is extended, the South West junior season will be cancelled.
The Wagga and District juniors have been given until October 1, similar to the the Riverina and Farrer League competitions.
Wagga and District will have a two-week top four finals series up until lockdown being extended past September 17. After that point, AFL Riverina will consider night midweek grand finals between the top two teams.
They can be played the week starting September 20 or 27. After that, the season will be cancelled.
AFL Riverina is also open for scratch matches to be played between non-competing finalists. AFL Riverina request that clubs contact operation staff to inform them should they do so.
AFL Riverina is also committed to playing one more round of the youth girls competition. This will be confirmed once the NSW regional lockdown is finished.
