A MAN has been arrested following an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of students at a Wagga school three decades ago.

In July 2021, detectives from Riverina Police District commenced an investigation after reports three male students were allegedly sexually abused by a teacher at a school in Wagga, between 1984 and 1990.
The boys were aged between 14 and 16 at the time.
Following inquiries, officers attended a home in Albury on Thursday and spoke with a man in his 70s.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He was arrested and taken to Albury Police Station, where he was charged with two counts of sexual assault - assault and indecent act, and seven counts of sexual assault - indecent assault person under 16 under authority.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear in Albury Local Court on September 20.
