A LEETON man has been charged following an investigation into a stolen vintage motor vehicle in the town earlier this year.

Police have been investigating the alleged aggravated break and enter since April 30, when a classic 1977 Holden Torana Sedan was stolen from a locked garage at a home on Maiden Avenue in Leeton.
The car was loaded onto a car trailer and towed via the Burley Griffin Way, through Temora, Cootamundra, and Yass.
The last sighting of the vehicle was on the M7 Motorway at Liverpool, about noon that day.
Following extensive inquiries, officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District attended a worksite on Vance Road in Leeton and arrested the 26-year-old man just before noon on Monday, August 30.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He was taken to Leeton Police Station where he was charged with aggravated break, enter and steal commit serious indictable offence - in company - steal greater than $60,000.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear in Leeton Local Court on October 12.
The vehicle has not been located.
