Anyone who visited at Wagga Trucks on Hammond Avenue on Wednesday 25 August between 7:30 am and 11:00 am is considered a close contact and should get tested immediately and self-isolate for 14 days.
This business has a COVID-19 business safety plan in place which has helped minimise the risk to patrons.
2IC at Wagga Trucks Olivia Murray confirmed that all staff members present during the exposure have been tested today and are isolating awaiting results.
In a statement Ms Murray confirmed the drivers stopped for a minor repair and all Covid measures were strictly adhered to.
"On Wednesday 25th August between 7.30am and 11:00am [two] truck drivers presented their truck to our business," Ms Murray said. "The repair was quite minor and the truck was repaired in our carpark."
"Both drivers entered the building once to use the toilet, our camera footage shows them hand sanitising at time of entry. The drivers then returned outside and had NO contact with the public.
"The truck was sanitised before work commenced and our staff followed our strict guidelines. We could not be any prouder of the way this case has been handled by our staff members and how contact was minimised and sanitising took place."
IN OTHER NEWS:
A second exposure sight was listed at the IOR Petroleum in Gundagai on August 25 at 4:30am though Public Health has advised there is minimal risk at this stop as the drivers used contact free payment at the unstaffed fuel pump.
The MLHD has confirmed the drivers are now isolating outside of the district.
Earlier
Wagga mayor Greg Conkey said the news of exposure is "disappointing" but unsurprising, and that anyone with the mildest of symptoms in the city should come forward for testing as soon as possible.
He warned that that few attendees at our local Covid testing centres so far today is not a good sign.
Testing clinic hours have been extended across the region, with a full list of clinics and opening hours available below.

The announcement comes after the MLHD confirmed that a man believed to be a positive Covid case who travelled through towns in the District visiting locations at Temora and Beckom tested negative for COVID-19.
The man travelled through towns in the district visiting locations at Temora and Beckom. Locations were identified as locations of concern and people who had visited these locations during that time were asked to come forward for testing.
