Police are investigating who was behind the theft of two cars, one of which was set alight just a few hours after being pinched from a Wagga home.

Officers were notified that between 10.30pm and 11.30pm Wednesday, a 2013 silver Ford Kuga was stolen from a home on Henwood Avenue, Kooringal.
Soon after, a 1989 Ford Courier was stolen from a home on Lae Avenue, Ashmont.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The Ford Courier was later found by police burnt out in a park at Tolland.
Officers attached to Riverina Police District were notified and conducted patrols in the area.
As inquiries continue, anyone with information about these incidents is urged to call Wagga Police on 6922 2599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
