Police are investigating who was behind the theft of two cars, one of which was set alight just a few hours after being pinched from a Wagga home.

Officers were notified that between 10.30pm and 11.30pm Wednesday, a 2013 silver Ford Kuga was stolen from a home on Henwood Avenue, Kooringal.
Soon after, a 1989 Ford Courier was stolen from a home on Lae Avenue, Ashmont.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The Ford Courier was later found by police burnt out in a park at Tolland.
Officers attached to Riverina Police District were notified and conducted patrols in the area.
