The number of fully-vaccinated Riverina residents has grown by more than 17 per cent since last week.

According to government data, 30.9 per cent of the Riverina's population over 15-years-old has now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Last week, this figure was listed as 26.4 per cent.
The number of people who have had their first dose is also on the rise, sitting at 54.6 per cent on Monday - up from 49.8 the week prior.

Although promising, Member for Wagga Dr Joe McGirr said that local vaccination rates must continue to increase.
"I encourage anyone who is eligible, but who hasn't yet booked an appointment, to do it," he said.
"As a community, we need to continue to look after ourselves and each other."
With 18-39 year old's becoming eligible for the Pfizer vaccine from August 30, and the Moderna vaccine due to arrive in Australia late September, vaccination rates are expected to keep growing.
The Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network's (MPHN) pandemic lead Dr Alison Koschel is also continuing to urge people to get vaccinated, particularly those living in areas with recent exposure sites, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
"MPHN is continuing to support the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout through Murrumbidgee region Commonwealth vaccination hubs, Aboriginal medical services and participating general practices and is encouraged by the progress made thus far," she said.
The Riverina is currently ranked 21 out of 28 geographic areas across the state in terms of first doses of the vaccine.
This has dropped significantly since the beginning of August when the region was ranked 12 in the same category.
In terms of fully vaccinated residents the region has remained on track, still ranked at 13 as it was at the beginning of the month.
In the 2650 postcode specifically, between 60 and 69 per cent of the eligible population has had their first dose of the vaccine, and between 30 and 39 per cent are fully vaccinated.
There are over 100 vaccination clinics across the Murrumbidgee region.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian has continually pointed to a figure of 70 to 80 per cent fully-vaccinated adults in order for restrictions to be eased across the state.
