AFL's home and away season concluded on Sunday and there will be at least five AFL Riverina footballers taking part in finals.
Cootamundra's Isaac Smith will play in his 21st final when the Cats take on Port Adelaide in one of the qualifying finals.
The rest of the AFL Riverina representatives are set to go head-to-head in a Sydney derby elimination final.
Turvey Park junior Harry Cunningham will represent Sydney, up against Leeton-Whitton's Jacob Hopper, Mangoplah-Cookardainia United-Eastlakes' Harry Himmelberg and Collingullie-Glenfield Park's Harry Perryman at the Giants.
Perryman will head into his sixth final at just 22 years of age and is looking forward to take on the Giants' cross-town rivals.
"Can't wait to come up against the Swans," Perryman told Giants website after the game.
"We always find a way to play them in finals so I can't wait.
"I'm rapt for the boys, we've had a great couple of weeks and we're building some great momentum. Unfortunately we won't be able to play it in front of our home fans but I just can't wait to get out there and get stuck in."
The Giants' tuned up for finals with a hard-fought 14-point win over Carlton. Perryman got the privilege of playing on Eddie Betts in his final AFL game.
"He was running around pretty wild there, Eddie, in his last game obviously," Perryman said,
"He's had a great career, 350 games, he's done it all so it was great to be able to play on him in his last game. He's a good fella, as well, so we were having a few chats out there and having a bit of a laugh so it was good."
Cunningham also goes into the finals on the back of a special moment, enjoying his 150th AFL game in the Swans' 87-point belting of Gold Coast Suns.
It was a milestone with a difference, given there was no crowd allowed for the game at Marvel Stadium.
The Swans did their best to make it a special day for Cunningham, involving his family via zoom in a pre-game presentation, before having some fun at the game's end and chairing him off in front of the empty stadium.
"Thanks for all the love and kind messages over the last few days," Cunningham posted after the game.
"Grateful to be apart of this great club with some of the best family and friends."
It will be Cunningham's 11th AFL final this weekend.
Smith is the only one of the Riverina five that has won an AFL premiership, playing in three at Hawthorn before crossing over to Geelong this year.
