The Cherrypickers have built a team from far and wide as they look to end their 30-year premiership drought.
Captain Mitch Cornish, fullback Tyler Cornish and forwards Blake Hewitt and Mick Dodson all travel from Goulburn to play, while centre Nic Hall is based in Canberra and centre Ben McAlpine has already missed a game after Orange was put into lockdown last month.
All locations have had positive tests recorded in the past week, although there have been no exposure sites in Goulburn.
Young aren't alone with Tumut's Jed Pearce, Ron Leapai and Tolo Aroha-Tuinauvai and Gundagai pair Ryan McQueen and Aisea Taholo based in the Canberra-Queanbeyan region.
The ACT will be in lockdown until September 2 at this stage.
Group Nine have penciled in a September 4 resumption if clubs are given the all clear by the state government to resume training on the weekend.

Young takes on Southcity at Harris Park in the first week of the finals and the Bulls have beaten them in their three previous meetings this season.
Coach Nick Hall admitted he's got the tyranny of distance but is confident there is plenty of depth at the Cherrypickers if required.
"I've got a deep club and there are plenty of players but there is no doubt they are all very talented players and have been integral to the side this year," Hall said.
"I definitely would rather have them but I was going to be without Nic (Hall) the other week and was making a plan and I was going to be without Mitch and Nick (Cornish) and I made a plan as well because it flows on down to reserve grade and the under 18s but we have depth in the club.
"We have players missing out in reserve grade most weeks so I can fill in the numbers and there are some good players as well. There are some guys who are close so we can handle things."
The break in the season has allowed plenty of time for their injury concerns.
Dodson, Aaron Slater, Nayah Freeman and Boro Navori have all missed games in the back end of the season.
However Hall revealed everyone was likely to be on deck for their clash with Gundagai that didn't go ahead in round 17.
For now he's focusing on how best to motivate the club through the stay at home order and the ban on training.
"The coach in me would love to have us together training, doing contact and doing other things but we can't do that," Hall said. "We've got some team chats that we are communicating on.
"Some of the guys live together so they can pair up and do some training together but the rest of the them we're just posting sessions saying that someone did this and someone did that.
"It's a little bit of a weird one but you have to do something to keep some sort of unity with all this stuff happening."
