The Two Blues have named a seniors and reserves team, even after having seven Canberra-based players ruled out due to that city's lockdown (as well as injured coach Alex Lawder).
Lawder said they didn't want to let Marrar down by bringing only one side for the final round.
Barellan president Jeff Mickan hopes their players can turn up and stand up in what shapes as a tough final outing.
"It's a bit of a dilemma with the Canberra lockdown and we've been struggling with numbers this year," Mickan said.
"We might struggle a bit against a team that's on top of the ladder and looking to prime for finals."
Marrar get key players Zach Walgers, Sam Emery and Cal Gardner back but won't have forwards James Lawton, Rhys Mooney and Dayne Hancock.
Mickan said Barellan's host of travelling players isn't ideal but it's been a path to competitiveness in the league.
"Our first port of call in recruiting and planning for the season is to not use so many Canberra players. But it's what we've got to do to exist," Mickan said.
"We certainly don't calculate a scenario like this into it at the start of the season. But it is an issue with bringing players in from further away."
