The Henty Machinery Field Days have fallen victim to COVID-19 again.
The field days board of management met on Tuesday and regretfully cancelled the event on the same day NSW recorded a record daily number of cases.
But organisers are hoping to run the event in March next year.
Field days chief executive Belinda Anderson said the decision to look into rescheduling was based on the recommendations from NSW Health.
"HMFD has been advised we are able to operate under the 4sqm rule, however, NSW Health has strongly recommended the event be rescheduled," she said.

"We have also considered the possibility of introducing the Delta strain of COVID-19 to the area and the impact this would have on our community.
"This was a risk we were not prepared to take."
Mrs Anderson said border restrictions had also played a significant part in the decision to cancel the September event, with 50 per cent of exhibitors booked in from interstate.
