The Bombers enjoyed the bye last weekend and will play Barellan at Langtry Oval on Saturday, before having another week off when finals begin.

Key forward James Lawton's availability for the final home and away round is still up in the air as he recovers from an ankle injury sustained in the win over East Wagga-Kooringal.

But the likes of Zach Walgers, Cal Gardner, Rhys Mooney, Dayne Hancock and Sam Emery are all likely to be certain inclusions to face the Two Blues.

"It will be good. And obviously those blokes are going to add something to the side," Marrar coach Shane Lenon said.

Marrar have won their past 11 games to seal the minor premiership, but have been challenged in recent times by North Wagga and then the Hawks.

Lawton's availability in finals is of significant importance to the Bombers and Lenon is yet to decide whether the key forward will line-up against Barellan.

"We've got to wait and see how he goes at training on Thursday," Lenon said.

Lenon admitted if there was any doubt, he would err on the side of caution with Lawton.

"Definitely. He would need to train and get through a fitness test," he said.

"He hasn't obviously trained, he's just been doing his rehab and strength work on his ankle. He's got to be able to do a full session on Thursday night and get through a fitness test."

Lawton was on track to kick 100 goals in the home and away season before injury struck in his last two games, against Temora and EWK.

He has booted 78 goals for the year and Lenon is not concerned about him missing Barellan and going first-up for five weeks into the second semi-final.

"No. That won't come into the equation," he said.

"If he's 100 per cent fit this week, he plays. If he doesn't play this week, he'll be 100 per cent fit by the second semi."

Regardless of Lawton's availability, Lenon is looking forward to welcoming back a number of players on finals eve.

"We've had the week off, training was good last week, it was good to have the week off to freshen everyone up," he said.

"We'll have a couple of good sessions this week and there's going to be some blokes who are going to be a little bit unlucky at selection but in saying that, that's a good problem to have at this time of year.

"We'll pick what we think is our best side and it will be full steam ahead into Barellan at home on Saturday."

Barellan will come into the final round clash on the back of a confidence-boosting 27-point win over Coleambally last Saturday.

The Two Blues will also take heart from the fact they pushed the Bombers for periods early in the year, where Lawton was best-on-ground and kicked seven goals in Marrar's 67-point win.
