Police have been told that up to 40 students gathered in a room within the university's accommodation blocks, about 10pm on July 28.
The group dispersed after two security guards attended.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Four men - three aged 19 and one aged 18, as well as two women aged 18 and 20 - were issued with $1000 infringement notices.
Inquiries are continuing to identify other attendees.
