The Cherrypickers can secure a top three finish with victory in either one of their last two games of the season.
Coming off the bye following their biggest win of the season against Tumut, coach Nick Hall is looking to wrap it up against a Temora outfit fighting for their place in the top five.
"We'd love to have that breathing space but also fancy the short trip as if you can get through that first (finals) game and knock it over then you are one step away," Hall said.
Temora are currently fifth, one point clear of Kangaroos, but need to upset at least one of the top three teams in the last three weeks to play finals football.

Young only took a 10-point win when the teams last met and with the Dragons fighting for their season, Hall knows they will be up for the contest again.
"I don't think the last game was a measure of us but it was a measure of them," he said.
"They are a competitive side who try hard and I've heard Josh (McCrone) say that while they may lack size but they are not lacking for fight and will play to the whistle. That is what they did against us."
The Cherrypickers also have a couple changes.
Ben McAlpine returns to the centres after missing the win over Tumut due to COVID restrictions.
However Harry Fitzpatrick will retain his place in the starting line up with Angus Smith carrying a shoulder issue.
Hall will also manage veteran Mick Dodson leading into finals while Aaron Slater is still a couple of weeks away with his calf complaint.
Young will also recognise their 1991 premiership side.
While the reunion has been cancelled due to COVID, Hall wants those still in town to be part of the day.
"We'll definitely tip our hat to them as it's been 30 years since we've won," he said.
"They were a good side and the thing about winning a comp is you're remembered and we want to make sure those guys are held up."
