With Wentworth Park's calendar suspended for the moment, GRNSW has assisted trainers who are constrained by zone racing and the rewards have been palpable.
The top grade 525m on the 11-race card is the second Quadrella Leg (Race six) and it's a contest of substance offering $4500 to the winner - and there are a number chances.
The in-form Lady Luna has saluted in five her past five starts at Wagga - all over 525m - and she steps to open company after a gritty 30.46 win from box 6 on July 22.
So consistent is Lady Luna, her five wins at Wagga over Friday's trip have ranged from 30.40 to 30.46 and, when third on June 18, she still registered 30.51 personally.
One rival well versed in the rough-and-tumble of Free For All racing is Peter Sims' Second Exit (box eight).
The winner of 22 races and $136,445, Second Exit has not raced since May 29 when fifth to Coast Model at Wentworth Park in 29.93 - the best time of the night.
Though best served by an inside alley, Second Exit has won from every box and her personal best at Wagga is a cracking 29.95.
Impress Us - a kennelmate to Second Exit - has genuine speed and is also in the mix from box two.
He last raced on April 16, winning from box six in 30.41 at Wagga and subsequently scored in slick times at Nowra, Temora (twice) and Bulli.
The first race at Wagga gets underway at 6.50pm.
