The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a minor flood warning for the Murrumbidgee River at Wagga, Tumut, Gundagai, Narrandera, and Darlington Point.

In a warning issued on Thursday afternoon, the BOM said it expected minor flooding along parts of the Tumut and Murrumbidgee Rivers.
"Releases from Burrinjuck and Blowering Dams combined with local tributary inflows are likely to cause flooding near minor levels along the Tumut and Murrumbidgee Rivers in the coming days and into next week," the warning stated
"The Tumut River at Tumut is likely to reach near to the minor flood level of 2.0 metres during Friday.
"Flooding near the minor level is also expected along the Murrumbidgee River at Gundagai during Thursday and into Friday and further downstream at Narrandera and Darlington Point next week."
"The Murrumbidgee River at Wagga will remain below the minor flood level (7.30 m) during Thursday and for the remainder of the week."
Wagga City Council has already closed River Road, Kohlhagens Bridge Road and Mundarlo Bridge, Wantabadgery due to high water levels.
The Wagga Beach COVID-19 drive-through testing clinic has moved to the Playhouse carpark to avoid rising river levels.
The BOM will update its warning at midday on Friday.
Murrumbidgee River downstream of Burrinjuck to Wagga:
Flooding just below minor flood levels is expected along the Murrumbidgee River downstream of Burrinjuck to Wagga Wagga.
The Murrumbidgee River at Gundagai is likely to reach around 6.0 metres during Thursday, just below the minor flood level of 6.1 metres.
Murrumbidgee River downstream of Wagga to Narrandera:
Minor flooding may occur along the Murrumbidgee River downstream of Wagga Wagga to Narrandera.
The Murrumbidgee River at Narrandera may reach around 6.7 metres during Monday 2 August, with minor flooding.
Murrumbidgee River downstream of Narrandera to Darlington Point:
Minor flooding may occur along the Murrumbidgee River downstream of Narrandera to Darlington Point.
The Murrumbidgee River at Darlington Point may reach around 5.50 metres during Friday 6 August, with minor flooding.
