Wagga City Council announced in a Facebook post that River Road, Kohlhagens Bridge Road and Mundarlo Bridge, Wantabadgery are all currently closed due to high water levels.
The river is however not predicted to go outside of its banks, but low lying areas on the Murrumbidgee could be affected.
The Murrumbidgee River at Wagga was sitting at 5.99 metres 9am Thursday morning and the Council advised if the river does reach 7 metres, which is predicted in the coming days, Mundowy Lane will also be closed.
They have also advised O'shea's Road, Gumly Island Road and Kneebones Road could also potentially be closed if river levels peak at or over 7 metres.
