Wagga City Council announced in a Facebook post that River Road, Kohlhagens Bridge Road and Mundarlo Bridge, Wantabadgery are all currently closed due to high water levels.

The river is however not predicted to go outside of its banks, but low lying areas on the Murrumbidgee could be affected.
The Murrumbidgee River at Wagga was sitting at 5.99 metres 9am Thursday morning and the Council advised if the river does reach 7 metres, which is predicted in the coming days, Mundowy Lane will also be closed.
They have also advised O'shea's Road, Gumly Island Road and Kneebones Road could also potentially be closed if river levels peak at or over 7 metres.

As it stands, Wagga Beach is closed to the public and parts of the Wiradjuri Reserve and Trail are now unable to be accessed.
Landholders are again reminded to remove stock from low-lying areas and to follow the latest advice from the SES and Water NSW.
Blowering Dam is now spilling as it was at 100.3 percent capacity Thursday morning , while Burrinjuck Dam is continuing to spill at 102.1 per cent storage levels.
