The Wagga are still searching for that elusive win this season after falling to a 26-10 loss to Temora at Equex Centre on Sunday.
Co-coach James Hay was disappointed with how their own poor discipline let the Dragons get a jump on them.
"It was just poor discipline," Hay said.
"He give away nine penalties in the first half and down here as soon as you're the bad team you're just going to cop it all game.
"We can't do that.
"The boys were up for it being a big day for the club celebrating Margo Doherty and her life so it was a shame we couldn't put in a better performance."
Cade Price only lasted nine minutes on the wing in his return from a hamstring injury.
Things only get harder for Brothers who host Tumut, coming off their second loss of the season, at Equex Centre on Saturday.
