The pair were the only multiple winners across the eight-race card.

First Ab Fab produced the goods before Western Style capped off the meeting.

"Both of them have been super consistent in recent times so they deserved it," McRae said.

Western Style won his first race since taking out the Regional Championships consolation in May after being runner up in three straight races following the series.

McRae has a big opinion of the four-year-old.

"I really rate him and think he's a really nice horse," McRae said. "He's still a bit immature and races a little bit like he's inexperienced but he's coming up through the grades quite nicely.

"I think he's got the potential to be quite a nice horse so he was overdue to win that one."

Earlier in the day Ab Fab put in a dominant display to bring up her first win since March.

She hadn't finished outside of the top four in her last four starts, but ran away from her rivals to go on and win by 14.5 metres in the fastest race of the program.

McRae thought the return to mares grade helped.

"Being back in against the mares certainly helps," he said.

"She got up into a fairly high grade but don't into a lower assessed race to make it easier for her."

Meanwhile Nifty Jolt was the fastest of the three up to 45 heat winners.

Smokin Tally and Heavenly Wisdom took out the other heats.
