Prosecutors will allege that on October 25 two women broke into a Wagga home while people were present and attempted to abduct a child.
A 29-year-old woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces a charge of taking/detaining a child with intent to remove from parental control (domestic violence-related).
The Wagga woman is also accused of an aggravated enter dwelling with intent and common assault (domestic violence-related).
IN OTHER NEWS:
On Wednesday, the woman's solicitor entered pleas of not guilty to all three charges on her behalf.
The Department of Public Prosecutions representative Sam Baumgarten informed Magistrate Christopher Halburd the woman would be committed for trial.
The trial is expected to be held in April next year, but the woman will appear in Wagga District Court in August.
There she will confirm her pleas before Judge Gordon Lerve, and the pre-trial court dates for the defence and prosecution will be set.
A 21-year-old woman from Forbes, who also cannot be named for legal reasons, is a co-accused in the matter.
She has also been charged with taking/detaining a child with intent to remove from parental control (domestic violence-related), aggravated enter dwelling with intent and common assault (domestic violence-related).
Her matter has been adjourned and will return to Wagga Local Court in August, when it is expected she will enter her pleas and be committed for trial.
Both women remain on bail.
