Somerville is in the second year at the helm and has overseen a strong recent revival by the Demons before Saturday's crunch clash at Turvey Park.
After losing three of their first four games, culminating in a shock 57-point defeat at Narrandera, the Demons have bounced back hard to win six of their next eight matches to sit in fourth on the ladder with a healthy 7-5 record.
The only defeats over that period have come against top two sides Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes and Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong.

"We've had a couple of chats as a footy club and I've left it with them," Somerville said.
"I don't have to be the coach, I'm just a bloke from the Gullie, so if they reckon they can go and sign someone of quality (I won't mind).
"Coaches who are also good players are very handy. I've said if they want to go and find someone I won't stand in their way or get annoyed, it's probably a good thing to suss out.
"But if they're happy with me and don't want to do that, then it's up to them.
"You don't want to get in the road just for me to coach for one or two more years, and they're missing out on a ten year coach or something like that.
"It's hard to start asking that question now when we're still rolling around, but I thought I'd make it easy for them. If not, then I'll be around."
Somerville said the response from the players the past two months has shown their care for the club.
"It's been great. Narrandera seem to always get up to play us and we've had a battle with them most years," Somerville said.
"We know we have to win as many games as possible between now and the end of the year."
