AUSTRALIA OBLIGATED TO 'DO OUR BIT' ON CLIMATE CHANGE
Paul Bosman suggests, in response to 15-year-old Bella Burgemeister's letter, that her efforts and those of others as 'climate change fighters' is misplaced ("Major populations hold the key", The Daily Advertiser, July 19).

Paul's reason is based on Australia's CO2 emissions being 1.3 per cent of the world's total.
So, by Paul's logic, were the efforts of my Wagga relatives, who died in World War II, misplaced?
Were the efforts of others from Wagga, who made the supreme sacrifice, misplaced?
Australia fielded only 11 Divisions in World War II and the rest of the world around 1400 Divisions (0.8 per cent).
Australia should 'do our bit' in protecting the future generations, just as past generations protected our future.
I salute you Bella and your fellow 'climate change fighters'.
To those who think otherwise, I'll pop a 'white feather' in the post for you.
Ed Wellham, Wagga

RESPONSE A COLOSSAL BLUNDER
The urban media have been telling Australians every hour, on the hour, every day for the last year and a half, that we are subject to a COVID-19 pandemic that has killed millions of people throughout Australia and the wider world.
Yet of all the family, friends, and associates that I know personally, and extending to celebrities and world notables, none of them have died from COVID-19.
Further, of several people that I have asked, none of them know of anyone either, except for one woman whose great aunt, residing in a nursing home and suffering dementia, died and was diagnosed as a COVID-19 victim. There appears to be a lack of personally observable evidence to support the claims of the urban media.
Strangely, the inventor of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test used to diagnose COVID-19 (Dr Kary Mullis, deceased) previously stated that the test is unsuitable for diagnosing viral infections.
Further, credible doctors and professors estimate that 97 per cent of current PCR tests are diagnosing false positives.
Further, of the claimed victims of COVID-19, the average age at death is approximately 83 years, and 73 per cent of these had two or more co-morbidities such as dementia, heart failure, and diabetes.
Further, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the total number of deaths in Australia from January 2020 to January 2021 was 141,379.
The average for the previous four years was 140,969, a difference of 410. This difference is obviously not a pandemic quantity.
Besides the lack of personally observable evidence of a COVID-19 pandemic, there is contrary and conflicting certifiable evidence as well. Considering the continual claims of the urban media, and the debilitating restrictions and compulsions imposed by politicians, it appears that Australians are either subject to a pandemic and response where the victims are not commonly known, or subject to one of the most colossal blunders in history.
The evidence indicates that it is the latter.
