Yesterday, testing facilities in Albury, Wodonga and Jindera were under huge demand, after it was revealed the removalists had stopped at Jindera Shell.
More than 250 tests were conducted at a Jindera pop-up clinic yesterday, accounting for almost half of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District's [MLHD] tests of the day. So far none are positive.
It has since been revealed the removalists also stopped at Truck Wreckers JETIS 83 Fallon Street, North Albury, between 12:00 and 12:40pm on Saturday 10 July.
One close contact from this venue has been identified and has been tested and is isolating.
NEED TO KNOW:
Meanwhile a Riverina woman has been slapped with a $1000 fine after travelling to a hotspot and attempting to return home.
It was one of four penalty infringement notices issued by officers in the region since Wednesday as Sydney continues to grapple with it's outbreak.
