Hanwood moved to top spot in the Leonard Cup on Sunday when they recorded a 1-0 win over Tolland in Griffith.
It was Tolland's first loss of the season but it proved enough for Hanwood to jump them into the leader's spot, and two points clear of the Wolves.
Tolland may have left Griffith disappointed not to get the result but they certainly are not disheartened after having the better of a tight game for large periods.
Utlimately however, it was Hanwood who were able to land the match-winner with Tara Ceccato finding the back of the net with just a few minutes remaining.

Hanwood coach Anthony Zuccato conceded there was little between the two teams again.
"The defence and midfield is what won us the game this week," Zuccaro told The Area News.
"We had a few chances, but they were few and far between, and their keeper made some good saves."
Meantime, Junee climbed into third spot on the ladder with a 4-1 win over Young.
Wagga United also climbed a position with a 6-0 win over Cootamundra, while South Wagga continued their strong season with a 2-1 win over Leeton.
