A man accused of committing a crime spree throughout Wagga, which allegedly included kidnapping another man with the intention of holding him to ransom, will face trial.

Michael William Carr was arrested in August and charged with a string of offences that prosecutors will allege he committed in May last year.
He appeared in Wagga District Court on Friday before Judge Gordon Lerve to enter his pleas to 11 offences.
The 20-year-old is accused of kidnapping a man about 3am on May 16 at Forest Hill with the intent to hold him for ransom.

It is also alleged Mr Carr, a Mount Austin man, broke into a home earlier that same morning at Estella and stole credit cards, membership cards, keys, wallets, and some Valium and Panadeine Forte tablets.
Mr Carr has been charged with two counts of break and enter dwelling in company, two counts of robbery armed with an offensive weapon, and break and enter dwelling house or building and commit a serious indictable offence.
He also faces charges of steal motor vehicle, take person with intent to hold to ransom, take and drive conveyance car without the consent of owner, take and drive conveyance, and aggravated break and enter.
On Friday, he pleaded not guilty to all 11 offences. The trial date has been set for March 7 and is estimated to last up to eight days.
