The Wagga sides went toe-for-toe for the first half of the clash at Harris Park on Saturday.
However the second stanza was a one-act affair.
After captain-coach Nathan Rose scored to hand Southcity a 16-12 lead late in the first half, the Bulls scored eight unanswered tries to run out 60-12 victors.

While they turned things around, Rose wasn't pleased with the standard his side set early.
It's something he's looking to build on.
"The standard of the game in every department needs to be better," Rose said.
"We got better in the second half.
"We played to our strengths after speaking about it at half-time and came out and delivered it."
Latrell Siegwalt crossed for two early tries in the second half to have the Bulls well on their way to victory.
Rose thought the Bulls took better advantage of Brothers through the middle and it helped them pile on the points.
"In the second half we dominated through that area," he said.
However forwards Dana Ratu, Luke McBeath and Brody Tracey all failed to play out the game.
Ratu's ribs issue is the biggest concern ahead of the clash with Young at Harris Park on Sunday.
"We've had two close games with Young and next week will be no different
"We will have to turn up with a good attitude, ready to play some good footy," Rose said.
