A man in his late 50s is in a serious but stable condition at Wagga Base Hospital following a busy highway intersection crash on Thursday.

Three others who were also taken to hospital on Thursday have been discharged.
Five people were injured in a two-vehicle collision just outside Wagga at the intersection of the Sturt and Olympic highways at Moorong just before 12.10pm on Thursday.
Six crews attended the scene of the crash, and four people were transported to Wagga Base Hospital.
"They were a female aged in her sixties with a collarbone injury; a male aged in his fifties with chest pain; a male aged in his forties with ribs and lower leg pain and two other people with minor injuries," a NSW Ambulance spokesperson said on Thursday.
By Friday morning, a 55-year-old woman, 34-year-old woman and 42-year-old man had all been discharged from hospital. A 58-year-old man remains in a "serious but stable" condition at Wagga Base.
The Thursday crash affected traffic in all directions, with a significant emergency services presence at the scene.

Police were directing traffic around the crash but the Sturt and Olympic Highways were reopened at the intersection.
Fire and Rescue NSW and the Volunteer Rescue Association also attended the incident.
