The Blacks are sitting nine points ahead of the fifth-placed Tumut side, who they defeated last weekend, while Albury is sitting just four points ahead of the Blacks in third.
With five games remaining in their season ahead of a bye in the final round, taking the points at Murrayfield could prove crucial in their final position on the ladder.
There has been little to separate two two sides this season.
Griffith scored an 18-13 in round four before a 24-all draw in the second clash at Exies Oval.
The Blacks have some injury concerns heading into the clash but coach Chris McGregor is hoping they've learnt some lessons from the two previous games.
"They have a couple of good backs, and we just have to be smart," McGregor said.
"We probably should have beaten them again last time when we let a 19-0 lead slip. We just have to be smarter and play a good brand of footy."

The Blacks were able to almost knock over the second-placed Waratahs two weeks ago before beating Tumut last week.
McGregor feels like it has come from a positive approach on game day.
"I think our preparation has been a lot better on game day," he said.
"The boys have been very focused. Combinations are starting to gel, and we have been pretty consistent over the last couple of weeks in terms of who we have been playing.
"Due to injuries, that changes all the time, but as we start to get a consistent side on the park, we are getting better and better."
Meanwhile Ag College are looking to back up a positive showing against the Steamers when they host Tumut at Beres Ellwood Oval on Saturday.
Aggies have two wins to their credit this season, both against winless CSU, however they got within six points of Albury before the bye.
They sit five points behind the Bulls in sixth place.
Tumut will be desperate to keep their finals hopes alive after taking a 15-10 win when the two sides last met.
