The Kangaroos junior has played 32 NRL games, including all 16 this year, and his form was rewarded with a two year extension to keep him at the Titans until the end of 2024.
Gold Coast led 24-6 at halftime against the Sea Eagles before leaking 50 unanswered points in the second half, but bounced back with an important 44-6 win in Canberra last week.
They are just two points out of the top eight and Jolliffe is confident they have the ability to string some wins together and squeeze into the eight.
"That Manly game we were strong in the first half and in the second half the rules have been speeding up the game, but we haven't been managing that swing of momentum," he said.
"When we are under the pump we're not making decisions as a team. We're trying to solve it individually and that's where we come unstuck, so we've addressed it.
"There are bigger momentum shifts in games and when it goes against you, it can't be solved straight away. You have to get through a few sets and bring it back slowly. Against Manly we didn't get our defensive principles right.
"The top eight is not too far away, but we need to string together some results to make sure we get there."

Jolliffe spent five years in Cronulla's feeder system, winning a NSW Cup title with Newtown, before trying his luck with the Titans.
Despite the club recruiting big name forwards like David Fifita and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, Jolliffe has kept his spot and has been one of their most consistent performers.
Now he has his long term NRL career settled, Jolliffe is focused on taking his game and the Titans to the next level.
"It (contract extension) does give you that self confidence and you don't have to worry about that off field stuff now. I can just focus on my performances each week," he said.
"I'm very driven, I want to play first grade and push myself. I want to play some representative football and some finals football.
"I'm still learning a lot each week and I aspire to higher levels, that's my goal personally. Making finals and looking for a premiership at some point would be outstanding."
The Titans have the bye this weekend before they host Parramatta next Friday night.
