Wagga's federal vaccination hub saw about 50 people administered with newly available Pfizer doses on Monday outside the Wagga Respiratory Clinic and Glenrock Country Practice in Glenfield Park.

The Glenfield Park hub had previously carried the only the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Practice director Dr Ayman Shenouda said the Pfizer injections were booked out for the next three weeks but the hub hoped to receive more doses soon and increase bookings from 240 to 900 per week.
"Anybody in the 40 to 60 age group can be vaccinated with Pfizer. People who have vulnerable conditions of any age group can be vaccinated now: people with diabetes, high blood pressure or who are immunosuppressed," Dr Shenouda said.
Kate Smith, a nursery production assistant from Mangoplah, said she got vaccinated on Monday because she wanted to help end the COVID-19 lockdowns.
"I'm in the age group to get vaccinated and my main concern is my parents. I think that vaccines are the fastest way to get out of this," she said.
"They are having full crowds at Wimbledon and I feel that Australia is at risk of being left behind."
Dr Shenouda said people could search for a vaccine booking online at healthdirect.gov.au.
