The Wagga City fullback was part of the 2016 premiership with Waratahs but headed to their crosstown rivals when he returned to rugby union last season.
Tracey was in fine form in City's latest win but after the bye he expects a much bigger test at Conolly Rugby Complex as the unbeaten Boiled Lollies look to reclaim top spot on the ladder.
Wagga City took a 61-12 win when the two sides met in a rematch of last year's final.
However Waratahs have welcomed plenty of new faces into the side since then with Will Wennerbom going on to represent Southern Inland while former representative players James Daley and Dan Selmes are also back.
"It will be interesting to see how we go this week as Tahs have a lot of new faces at the club and a fair bit off talent," Tracey said.
"I think we will get the job done but they definitely look a lot stronger with Wig (Daley) and that back.
"That's where they are strong - in the forward pack - but I think our backs have them covered."

On the other hand Wagga City are not at full strength with star playmaker Dylan McLachlan struggling with an ankle complaint.
McLachlan missed the 59-17 win over Tumut after picking up the problem at the Brumbies Provincial Tournament.
Coach Ben Schreiber is expecting to retain his place at inside centre and Tracey is confident the club has more than enough back line depth to cover.
"He was at training on Tuesday but pulled up a bit sore," he said.
"Either way we should be right as if he's out Schreiber will be there. He's our crash and bash and the back line just flows off it."
Captain Adam Mokotupu is also in doubt after injuring his calf on representative duties.
Tracey made the move to Wagga City last season following three straight grand final appearances with Group Nine club Southcity.
He made the switch with younger brother Brody, who has returned to the Bulls and plays alongside the youngest Tracey, Joel, but the 26-year-old is pleased he's stayed with the club.
"I just love the environment at Wagga City," Tracey said.
"Everyone gets along from the women, third grade and second grade.
"It's just like a big family and it's not only footy you can hang out with each other on the weekends or go to the feed and have a feed on the weekdays.
"There's a good feeling around the place."
The other match in the round sees Griffith host Tumut at Exies Oval.
Only five points separates the two teams on the ladder with the Bulls needing a win to keep in contact with the top four.
Meanwhile Albury will be without Uraia Vuluma for two games after being found guilty of dissent by the Southern Inland judiciary.
The incident was deemed low range.
