Operation Convoy was undertaken by officers attached to the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command
Between June 23 and 27, police targeted heavy vehicle compliance and alcohol or drug-impaired drivers within Wagga, Junee, Temora, Henty, The Rock, Gundagai, Tarcutta and Holbrook.
Officers were also patrolling popular tourist areas to ensure any visitors were complying with current COVID-19 Public Health Orders.
During the operation, officers conducted 330 breath tests and 63 random drug tests with 64 infringement notices issued for offences including speed and mobile phone offences, along with heavy vehicle fatigue and load restraint breaches.

Six 24-hour driving prohibition notices were issued, as well as eight court attendance notices.
Meanwhile, police pulled over a Honda Accord on the Hume Highway, Goulburn, about 2pm on Sunday, and spoke with the 33-year-old driver.
The man, from Sydney, was found to be in breach of the current COVID-19 Health Order.
He was issued a direction to return home, as well as a PIN for failing to comply with a noticed direction and fined $1000.
