Eight goals to one after half-time was the difference as the Jets wrested control of a game in which Barellan had asked some serious questions in a bid to prove they too belong in finals discussions.
"They come out firing and they really made us earn it," Jets coach Josh Avis said.
"Particularly that first quarter, they blew us out of the park a bit.
"It didn't like we had a roll-on, but we got our style of footy going and it kind of took care of itself in the end. We were suddenly five goals up which is pleasing to know our game holds up and the style of footy we want to play gets the job done."
Matt Wallis starred with eight of his side's 13 goals, making the most of it once the Jets midfield got on top.
The reliable Sam Fisher and Mitch Haddrill didn't let them down while young gun Josh Roscarel was outstanding for the visitors.
Barellan kicked four goals either side of half-time and finished right on top with a 4.7 final term to Barellan's sole point.
The Two Blues had them chasing early though, with Matt Irvin leading their efforts while Ben Cleaver and Mitch Conlan also impressed.
