After falling to Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong by 66 points before last week's competition bye, the third-placed Hoppers were keen to get back on track and showed no mercy against the Eagles.
A gusty breeze made goal-kicking difficult, but only inaccuracy prevented the hosts putting an enormous score on the visitors.
Hoppers co-coach Jake Barrett said he was happy with how his team ticked off the key areas they wanted improvement in after the Lions loss.
"Our boys had a four quarter effort today and it was unreal. We responded well, there was so much selfless play out there," he said.
"There's stuff we worked on over the last two weeks and we put in place what we talked about."

Jeremy Maslin kicked six goals while some other teammates could have also finished with a bag had it not been for their wastefulness.
"If you're getting 45 shots on goal it's a good day out, but hopefully we can execute them better. I'm happy with the brand we played today," Barrett said.
