The Tigers co-coach has missed the club's last three games, including a 20-12 win over Gundagai before the general bye.
However he's confident his hamstring issue has cleared up in time for the clash with Temora at Nixon Park on Sunday.
"We've had some big games in between there with Roos, Young and Southcity, three games I would have loved to have been out there to help out the boys, but now it's time for me to come back and make up for the games I've been away," Berkrey said.
Gundagai took a 22-12 win over Temora, who sit second last, earlier this season.
However Berkrey doesn't want to underestimate their rivals with a special clash with Tumut on the horizon.
"Temora in the past have given us a lot of trouble over there and they have a side who always hangs in," he said.
"We will only be worrying about this week not having an eye on next week."
