The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of the Riverina as a frontal system crosses NSW.
The warning, issued just before 5pm, warns that severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours.

The bureau said Riverina locations that could be affected include Wagga, Albury, Griffith, Narrandera, Lake Cargelligo, Corowa, Holbrook, Lockhart, Jerilderie, Hillston and Darlington Point.
At 5.30pm on Wednesday, the weather radar showed a line of storm activity moving towards Wagga from the west.
Griffith has already recorded 10.2 millimetres of rain, with the majority of that total falling in the 30 minutes to 5.30pm as a result of storm activity in the area.
Wagga recorded 2mm of rain to 9am this morning, but nothing has been tipped out of the city's rain gauge since that time.
