The two day event will be held on Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of September at the Wagga Showground, and this year the program is looking a little different thanks to some big changes.
The new General Secretary of the Show Society Greg Pritchard has come on board this year with plenty of experience running arts festivals across regional NSW, and he has big plans to see the show take off after last year's bitterly disappointing hiatus.
"We're hoping to make it quite a bit bigger this year, we think it's going to be really fantastic," he said.
"The only other show that has been missed was in the 1940s so we're hoping that this year is a bit of a celebration after the disappointment of last year."
This year will have a major music-focus, with plans to have a steady stream of acts performing on the big stage across the two day event.
Though no names could be confirmed just yet, Mr Pritchard promised a mix of big drawcards and local talent.
Perhaps the biggest change at this year's show will be the tickets which, for the first time ever, will be available for purchase online.
The tickets are $15 at the gate for adults and $10 for children, but online show-goers can expect a $3 knocked off the price in a special internet discount.
As always, the show will include a variety of competitions which hopefuls can enter for a small fee, as well as food stalls, show bags, games and rides.
Mr Pritchard said he was excited to bring the event back to Wagga with a fresh spin.
"It's a big part of the cultural calendar and having the music stage here this year will hopefully attract lots of people," he said.
Wagga Show tickets will be available online and in the box office for sale later this month.
