Ian Richard Wishart faced Wagga District Court on Friday charged with multiple offences, including attempted murder.
Mr Wishart, 51, was arrested by officers from Strike Force Belvidere at The Rock in September last year.
He was refused bail and appeared in court via video link on Friday from Bathurst Correctional Facility.
Judge Gordon Lerve read out four offences to Mr Wishart and asked him to enter his pleas onto the record.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He pleaded not guilty to all, including shooting at a person with intent to murder, stalk/intimidate with intent to cause fear or physical harm, assault and possessing an unregistered firearm.
Three of those charges relate to an alleged incident at a Mount Austin home on September 10.
His defence barrister Michael King confirmed that the trial would not go for more than five days and would be before a jury.
Judge Lerve set down the trial date for August 30 this year at Wagga District Court.
