"Alcohol-related crime that includes violence is always a concern to us. It is at times regular, and it is concerning how much some people will drink."
Inspector Collins issued a stern warning to residents and visitors planning to have some fun - "know your limits".
The crackdown will also focus on COVID-Safety compliance to ensure that all relevant restrictions are being adhered to.
