The Wagga Art Society has moved into the vacant spot that used to be a florist in the centre after arranging a proposal with the real estate.
President Peter Jamieson said they had a three-day pop-up for Mother's Day in the same location, which was successful.
So, he said, they worked out a price to have a six-week lease.
"We moved in last Monday, and we have about 15 artists," Mr Jamieson said.
"Everyone that has work on display, we ask them to do some shifts here to help out."
Mr Jamieson said it's an excellent proposition for everyone involved as the artists gain more exposure, and the mall has a brightly filled space rather than an empty shop.
"We had a similar setup down at the Marketplace, and it was really successful," he said.

"An online art sale supply site has seen sales go through the roof as people want to buy original artwork."
Geoff Fellows, secretary of the Wagga Art Society, agreed and said original art has become popular as people looked for ways to spruce their homes up during lockdown.
"I think people appreciate what they recognise, whether it's a landscape that looks similar or colours they love," he said.
"Crows and birds are a very popular theme."
The Kooringal pop-up is open Monday to Friday and Saturday morning. The Wagga Art Studio on Small Street is also open every Saturday from 10am to 3pm with the Fabulous Fake exhibition.
