Featuring Australian representatives Jim and Lucy Grills, Albury were too strong for Yass in a gripping final.
The Grills siblings won the Sam Johnstone Memorial and Midge Peeck Memorial awards as best male and female players respectively at the carnival, which attracted 24 teams from Canberra, Albury, Barkool, Harden, Yass, Tumbarumba and Jugiong.
