Needing to win to draw level with Northern Jets with a 3-5 record and leapfrog them into fifth spot on the table on percentage, the Bombers dug deep in the last round before the competition bye.
It sets up another vital clash against the Jets in the next round, with the winner to earn a one-game buffer in the race for finals.
"I think that's a pretty achievable goal to be able to move them into the finals," Marrar coach Matt Scofield said.
"East Wagga, Jets and Barellan were three teams we were looking to focus on (trying to win games against) at the start of the season.
We ended up losing to the Jets (33-29) in the first game, but we had one of our players not there that week. It will be interesting to see how far we've come when we come up against them next weekend.
"(After taking last year off) the girls were pretty keen to get back on the court and they're really starting to enjoy their netball.
"We had a few girls come in and there wasn't a lot of them that had played together. We're starting to find our feet a bit, which is really good."
