The Cherrypickers scored 30 unanswered points as they changed their attitude in the second half against Kangaroos at Laurie Daley Oval on Sunday.
Tries to teenagers Ben Cronin and Ned Cooper in the last six minutes of the first half handed the Wagga side a 22-6 lead at the break however they struggled to keep up the pressure in the second stanza.
Young coach Nick Hall was looking for an attitude change from his side and got just that to extend their strong start to the season.

"We said they (Kangaroos) were a side who was vulnerable and we had to go make it tough on them and we didn't," Hall said.
"In the second half we got back to it, we completed, we had energy, we got tight around the rucks after being way too loose.
"We had a few little changes, which slightly disjointed us and changed the routine a little bit, but we have to be better than that.
"The machine should roll on as someone comes out someone else slots in."
Hall said it was an 100 per cent attitude adjustment.
Young responded almost immediately with Inoke Vunipola scoring two minutes after the interval.
Nayah Freeman's double put them in front with 15 to play before tries to Mitch and Nick Cornish sealed the comeback.
The 36-22 win sees Young sit in third place, two points behind leaders Tumut, while Kangaroos are fifth but with the same amount of wins as sixth placed Albury as the midway point of the season approaches.
