Volunteer green thumbs were at the ready to share their handiest gardening tips and educate children about the wonders of their own backyards.
This year's event had musical performances for the first time, including a group of students from Kildare Catholic College, a father-son act with music teacher David Chaston, and performances from local musos.
The event was held in the lead-up to NAIDOC week, and so visitors were encouraged to learn about the native flora and plant some in their own yards as a small way of "healing country".
