NSW Health on Wednesday night revealed it had been informed of additional venues of concern associated with confirmed cases of COVID-19 who were in southern NSW between May 19 and 24 while potentially infectious.
The original timeframe provided by authorities has now been expanded after three household contacts of the original case tested positive.
NSW Health said anyone who visited The Coffee Pedaler, at 136 Sheridan Street in Gundagai, on May 19 between 9.30am and 11.15am is a close contact and must immediately call NSW Health on 1800 943 553, get tested and isolate until you receive further information.
People who attended the Gundagai Craft Centre (105 Sheridan Street) and Gundagai's Junque and Disorderly Antique Shop (177 Sheridan Street) between 11am and noon on the same day have been deemed casual contacts and should immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
NSW Health said it would open a new pop-up COVID-19 testing clinic at the Gundagai Racecourse on Thursday and Friday from 10am to 4.30pm.
Earlier plans to open at the town's visitor information centre were scuppered by inclement weather, prompting the move.
The Gundagai Medical Centre (95 Sheridan Street) can also be contacted for advice on testing.
The updated advice comes after alerts were issued for a number of sites along the Hume Highway from Goulburn to Melbourne after a traveller tested positive for COVID-19 following an interstate trip last week.
They returned a positive result after being tested for the virus six days after symptoms emerged on the day after they arrived home.
NSW Health and Victorian authorities declared a dozen new locations from the NSW South Coast right back to the Melbourne CBD in evening announcements on Tuesday.
The Shell service station at the Big Merino in Goulburn, as well as popular stop Trappers Bakery, were among the places listed in the public health alert in NSW.
