The Ovens and Murray League's decision to put their season on hold for two weeks due to Victoria's COVID-19 lockdown resulted in a number of last-minute clearances and permits to AFL Riverina.

Jacob and Lucas Conlan turned out for their home club Griffith in Sunday's 44-point loss to Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong, while Lachie and Adam Flagg returned to Northern Jets in their 22-point defeat at the hands of East Wagga-Kooringal.

Kane Flack shone in a one-off appearance for North Wagga over The Rock-Yerong Creek, who also brought in the son of premiership-winning coach Greg Brain, Zac, for the occasion.

Will Reinhold also starred for Temora in their 21-point loss to Charles Sturt University.

Not all were juniors. Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes brought in Mitchell Scott for their big win over Turvey Park, while Matt Klemke returned to Collingullie-Glenfield Park and kicked a couple of goals in their win.

The trend may continue this weekend with even more players due to the fact the Ovens and Murray League competition will remain in hiatus.
