The Bulls had their colours lowered by Tumut last week, but hit back in fine fashion up at Harris Park on Saturday.
Temora had plenty of opportunities early but it was Southcity who took advantage of plenty of luck to take a 38-6 win.
The Dragons kicked an early penalty goal before Jarom Vakarewakobau got the Bulls on the board when he crossed from a dubious pass.
Daniel Foley then scored off two mistakes from Hamish Starr at the back to have them rolling.
Captain-coach Nathan Rose was pleased with the improvement in the side.
"It was definitely good to get the win," Rose said.
"It was a bit scrappy early on but we got back into the game to come away with the two points and that's the main thing.
"We weathered the storm and put some tries on in the second half."

Trent Schubach scored off a Rose break just before half-time to give the Bulls a 20-2 lead.
They didn't let up in the second stanza.
Foley completed his hat-trick after completing a long range effort 12 minutes into the second half.
Moving into the centres with Cody Hodge sidelined through injury, Rose was pleased with Foley's input.
"Foles is handy to have out wide," He said.
"He can fill a number of positions and that's the beauty of having a bit of depth there with the bit of X factor he provides."
Tries to Brody Tracey and Latrell Siegwalt increased Southcity's advantage before Nick Trevaskis scored a consolation effort for the Dragons.
Their defensive effort was a big improvement from their last few games.
After conceding 20 points across their first three games, the Bulls conceded 24 in the win over Young before letting in 44 against Tumut last week.
The 38-6 win keeps the Bulls on top of the Group Nine ladder with a clash against Gundagai on the horizon.
However Rose is still looking for more up against the Tigers at Anzac Park on Sunday.
"There is still more room for improvement there going forward," he said.
"We completed a bit better, didn't turn over cheap ball and if we can do that then we can put on a few points.
"Gundi have strung a few wins together over the last month so we will have to make sure we turn up ready to play some football."
Meanwhile Temora are in for another big challenge when they host Tumut at Nixon Park on Sunday.
The Dragons have won two of their six games and are sixth on the ladder.
