IN OTHER NEWS:
Showcasing the community's connection and strength, council's Executive Director of Community and Corporate Paul Holton said the book invited all children's services and schools in the Snowy Valleys to participate.
"The book celebrates and showcases how children respond to themes of resilience, growth, nature and reflection," he said.
"The impact of the bushfires on the children and youth of the Snowy Valleys should not be underestimated and in developing this community book we hope it helps in healing for all involved."
The Be You Bushfire Response Program is led by Beyond Blue in partnership with Early Childhood Australia, headspace and Emerging Minds and provides targeted mental health support to schools and early learning services affected by the Black Summer bushfires across Australia.
The Snowy Valleys Community Book will be launched at the Nest Café in Tumbarumba on Friday, June 18, with RSVP to the event essential by May 31 to shodges@earlychildhood.org.au.
