The Two Blues travelled across full of hope for their first win under coach Alex Lawder, and it wasn't misguided as they secured a memorable 14.12 (96) to 4.11 (35) victory.
Barellan kicked six goals in the first half and then doubled that in the third quarter to put the game well beyond doubt with a 42 point lead.
The Two Blues looked on track to celebrate a century too, but kicked 2.7 in the final term.
It was a satisfying result for Lawder, who was pleased to get the proof that they're progressing.
"It was obviously our most complete performance and it was good to get the win," Lawder said.
"It releases the shackles in a way, to know what we're doing is working. We've just got to put it together for longer periods, especially against better opposition."
The arrival of new ruckman Mitch Gorman played a big part.
"To settle into the group, meet most of his teammates for the first time and be thrown into the ruck, he was really good," Lawder said.
"The whole midfield group was just exceptional. Sam Foley, Darcy McDermott, Sean Ellis, Ben Cleaver, Matt Irvin, Marcus Lawrence, Josh Britliff... all of them really set us up."
Lawrence and Ellis contributed three goals each, as did forward Matt Wells in a big game.
Mick Lovett was outstanding across half-back turning Temora around with almost alarming regularity.
Remarkably, Barellan kicked 10 of their 14 goals against the wind. And while Temora struggled with accuracy when they had it (kicking 1.7 and 3.4), they were scoreless going the other way.
Liam Pattison down back led the home side's efforts along with Brad Moye, Isaac Reardon and Rob Krause in the middle.
